Who we are

ChildrenSong of New Jersey founded and directed by Polly Murray, is a choral music education and performance program based in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Established in 2000, the program serves children in three choirs between the ages of 8 and 18 from Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester counties. The organization's mission is to provide quality music instruction with the goal of attaining the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music performance.

The Choir endeavors to enrich the lives of children from all religious, racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. A special effort is made to serve children who have limited opportunities for such experiences due to the circumstances of their schooling. Need-based scholarships are available.

Each year, ChildrenSong hosts an outreach program called Songfest with a focus on a specific genre of music.  Last year's Songfest focused on Hawaiian music and included instruction in ukulele playing! Since the ukulele addition to the program was a bit hit, we've decided to include it again in this year's Songfest. Our theme for this year is Broadway Uke Songfest! Click HERE for the information flyer. Click to register ON-LINE.
